Rio de Janeiro requires all civil servants to be vaccinated against the Coronavirus

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, issued a notice on August 18th requiring all civil servants to get a Coronavirus vaccine or face warnings, suspensions or even dismissal. The city of Rio requires all government departments that resume face-to-face offline access to their premises only for civil servants who have completed the Coronavirus vaccination.

In addition, the municipal government is calling on the elderly, pregnant women and the disabled who have not yet been vaccinated to complete the first dose of vaccination within this week.
