Five people have been killed in an explosion in a village in Myanmar’s Burgundy province

According to Myanmar media, at around 17:00 local time on May 3rd, an explosion in the village of Zee Oke in Burk province killed five people, including One Win Hlaing, a lawmaker elected in the 2020 elections.

Villagers said the explosion may have been a parcel bomb. Shortly after the explosion, a large number of military and police rushed to the scene, the police are currently investigating the explosion.
