The statement said that the civil aviation authorities of the two countries are currently fulfilling the necessary operating license procedures.
Once completed, EgyptAir will announce the specific operation date of the flight.
Previously, the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority had announced that it would open its airspace to Qatar from 00:00 on the 12th.
In June 2017, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and other countries announced that Qatar had severed diplomatic relations with Qatar on the grounds of “support for terrorism” and “destruction of regional security” and imposed a series of sanctions and blockade measures on it, including the closure of its airspace.
January 5 this year, on the sidelines of the 41st summit of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the six GCC countries and Egypt jointly signed the Euler Declaration to fully restore diplomatic relations with Qatar.
According to the report, according to the official statistics, about 70,000 Egyptians currently live or work in Qatar, but the actual number may exceed 300,000.
