August 22nd 2021 Germany’s federal economy and energy minister, Altmeier, said that despite the recent rise in the number of new confirmed cases across the country, Germany would not take further Lockdown measures.
“As far as we know, we will avoid restrictions on the movement of people who have been vaccinated and recovered, which means that restaurants and shops can remain open during the winter months.” He believes that both campaign organizers and the catering industry should follow the “3G” principle of “inoculated, recovered and tested”.
At present, several federal states in Germany have begun to implement pandemic prevention measures based on this principle.
