Aug. 5 2021 Japan has reported suspected side effects and even deaths after receiving Pfizer and Modner’s new crown vaccine, according to Japan’s NHK TELEVISION. Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare recently released the latest analysis results, said that no evidence of death and vaccination there is a causal relationship.
As of late July, the death toll from the Pfizer vaccine was 828, or 19 out of a million people, the ministry said at an expert meeting late Thursday. The death toll from the Modena vaccine was six, or 2.2 out of a million. In addition, the number of people who developed myocarditis and meningitis after receiving these two vaccines was 43 and 3 respectively.
“Because the age difference between the populations vaccinated against these two vaccines is very large, it is not possible to compare them simply,” the ministry said. The Japanese government believes that, so far, neither vaccine will have a significant impact on the vaccination mechanism, will continue to promote vaccination work.
Japanese media previously reported that in June this year, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare had 139 people after the results of the analysis of the side effects of the vaccine, said that “cannot evaluate (death) and vaccination causality.” Because most survivors do not want to undergo an autopsy, cannot do a detailed examination, or even if the autopsy, it is difficult to know a specific causal relationship.
