At least seven people were killed when a boat capsized on the Indonesian island of Java on May 16 local time as tourists tried to take selfies.
According to Agence France-Presse reported on the 16th, local police said that there were 20 tourists on board, in an overloaded state, when all the tourists in order to take a photo and suddenly moved to the right side of the hull, the cruise ship lost its balance and capsized.
Police say 11 people have been rescued, seven victims have been recovered and two are still missing.
The local government said it would investigate the incident to determine whether the cruise ship’s management had acted negligently.
Police said the driver of the wrecked boat was only 13 years old.
