Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that two citizens were arrested by Israel after crossing the border with Israel

May 16 2021 Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed to the outside world that two Jordanian citizens had been arrested by Israeli police. Earlier in the day, Israeli police reported the arrest of two knife-wielding men and said they had entered the country illegally after crossing the border with Israel.

Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Jordanian Embassy in Israel was in talks with the Israeli government about the release of those arrested.
