Reuters quoted Japan’s Daily News on the 19th as saying that a new variants novel coronavirus has been found, with more than 90 cases of infection.
The report quoted the National Institute of Infectious Diseases of Japan as saying that the new strain came from overseas, but it was different from the variants virus previously found in the United Kingdom and South Africa.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan, a total of 151 cases of variants viruses found in the United Kingdom, South Africa and Brazil have been reported in Japan.
At present, there are more than 400,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Japan and 7,194 deaths.
