December 24th – Anthony Fauci, the top infectious disease expert in the United States, received a special birthday gift on the 23rd: Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser declared December 24, 2020 the district’s “Fauci Day”.
Fauci is reportedly the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the top consultant for COVID-19 in the United States. During the epidemic, Fauci has been committed to ensuring public health safety, leading the team to prevent, diagnose and treat identified infectious diseases.
In the future, he will continue the fight against COVID-19 as the chief medical adviser to President-elect Biden’s administration.
