Botswana President Mokwizi Masisi said in a televisi local time on December 23 that the country will impose a curfew from 19:00 to 4 a.m.

every day from December 24 to January 3, 2021. During the curfew, everyone except for the purchase of daily necessities and medical treatment should stay at home.

According to the latest statistics released by the Botswana government, as of December 18, local time, the country has reported a total of 13,622 confirmed cases, 11,147 cured cases and 38 deaths.
