According to the United Morning Post, Vice President-elect Harris announced an all-female senior staff team, including the nomination of Tina Flournoy as Vice President Chief of Staff.
According to U.S. media reports, Flunoir is the chief of staff of former U.S. President Clinton. She has served as an assistant to the president of the United States Teachers’ Union of Teachers and has held various positions in Clinton’s government since he ran for president in 1992.
In addition, Harris appointed Rohini Kosoglu as the vice president’s domestic policy adviser. Kosoglu is currently Harris’ senior adviser and the first South Asian-American to serve as the chief of staff of the United States Senate in Harris’ Senate office and in her main presidential campaign.
Nancy McEldowney, the former U.S. ambassador to Bulgaria, will also serve as Harris’ national security adviser. McEl Downey served as a staff member of the National Security Council in the Clinton administration, the Director of European Affairs, and the Chief Under Secretary of State for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.
