April 9th, local time, U.S. diplomatic officials said at the meeting of relevant parties to the comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue held in Vienna that the United States has a “very serious intention to return to the nuclear agreement”.
In its open and indirect exchanges with Iranian diplomats, the United States pledged that the Biden administration would lift any sanctions imposed by the United States during Trump’s administration, because these sanctions violated the commitment to ease sanctions in the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan (JCPOA, the Iran Nuclear Agreement). The official said: “The U.S. team has put forward very serious ideas and shown a very serious intention to return to the nuclear agreement.”
Since April 6, Iran, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia and China have begun this talks on Iran’s nuclear activities and United States sanctions, and the United States has indirectly participated in the talks in Vienna to resume negotiations on the Iran nuclear agreement.
