May 13 2021, (APNEWS) – Three of the largest U.S. airlines have suspended flights to Israel because of escalating conflicts between Israel and the Palestinian territories. An airline spokesman said it was closely monitoring the situation in the region to determine when to resume flights.
American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines have reportedly suspended flights to Israel, including American Airlines canceled flights from New York to Tel Aviv from December 13, Delta canceled the same flights 14 days ago, United canceled flights to Israel 15 days ago, and allowed passengers scheduled to fly to Tel Aviv before the 25th to change their itinerary for free.
