In the U.S. presidential election, the Democratic candidate Biden was the first to reach the 270-vote threshold and was almost certain to be elected.
Biden himself also expressed his victory speech in his hometown of Delaware soon after the news. However, his opponent Trump still insists on election fraud and threatened to take a legal battle.
Trump’s personal lawyer and former New York Mayor Rudy Giulian even stated in an interview with Fox Finance that the Trump camp found 650,000 illegal votes in
Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
According to reports, as Trump’s personal lawyer, Giuliani hurriedly led a team of lawyers to Pennsylvania to scrutinize votes during the election process because they believed that there was “large-scale vote fraud”. Giuliani had previously accused Pennsylvania of tampering with vote counting, and many people who have died still have voting records.
In an interview with Fox Finance Network on the 11th, he even stated that as many as 650,000 votes in
Pennsylvania were cast without the supervision of a Republican scrutineer.
Giuliani said, “There are now as many as 650,000 votes that are illegal. These votes are from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. There is no doubt that these votes are illegal.” He added, “The media said we did not present evidence.
This is a lie through and through, just like the lie they have been telling for years.”
But Giuliani did not provide relevant evidence.
In response, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf issued a statement that during the entire balloting process
scrutineers from all parties were present, “Any suggestion to the contrary is a lie.”
