November 19, local time, the Kenosa County Circuit Court in Wisconsin ruled on the murder of Kyle Rittenhouse, acquitting Rittenhouse.
On August 25, 2020, Rittenhaus, only 17 years old, shot and killed 2 people and injured 1 in a riot in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. This case has attracted much attention because of the issue of gun ownership and race.
Rittenhaus’ lawyer argued that the reason for his shooting was in self-defense, and the prosecution has been trying to overturn this statement, holding that he was guilty of 5 crimes in this case, first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, first-degree intentional homicide attempt and two first-degree reckless murder crimes, a total of 5 crimes.
