The residence of Myanmar’s Minister of Social Welfare Relief and Resettlement was bombed

According to Myanmar media reports, on April 23 at about 21:00 local time, Myanmar’s Minister of Social Welfare Relief and Resettlement Dedekai’s residence in Yangon was hit by a bomb, no casualties.

Dedekai, a former NLD member, quit the NLD in 2019 to form the People’s Pioneer Party for the 2020 general election. After February this year, Dedekai was appointed by the National Governing Council as Minister of Social Welfare Relief and Resettlement.
