The parties to the Iran nuclear agreement will hold a videoconference of foreign ministers. China Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Willing to continue to work with all parties.

December 21, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin presided over a regular press conference. A reporter asked that the parties to the Comprehensive Agreement on the Iranian Nuclear Issue will hold a foreign minister’s videoconference today.

China announced on Friday that State Councilor Wang Yi will attend the meeting. What are China’s expectations for this meeting?

Wang Wenbin said that the current situation on the Iranian nuclear issue is highly complex and sensitive. We hope that through this meeting of foreign ministers, all parties will further consolidate the consensus on the maintenance and implementation of the comprehensive agreement and Security Council resolution 2231, and inject political impetus into the political and diplomatic settlement process of the Iranian nuclear issue.

China will continue to work with all parties to make unremitting efforts to maintain the international nuclear non-proliferation regime and peace and stability in the Middle East.
