The man who attacked Zhao Douchun was arrested
December 20 – On theĀ evening of the 16th local time, Zhao Douchun, a criminal in the Suyuan case of South Korea, was attacked at home and injured in the head by a strange man. On the 18th, the beating man was detained. He got into the police car handcuffed and shouted to the media, “It’s Zhao Douchun’s blunt weapon (hammer) first.”
According to a report by South Korea’s SBS TV station, the slender’s surname is Kim, in his twenties, and works in a logistics company. Jin told the police that he committed the crime out of anger at Zhao Douchun’s sexual crimes, and advocated that Zhao Douchun swung a hammer first. However, on the 18th, the South Korean court still issued an arrest warrant for Kim for fear of escape and destruction of evidence.
On the evening of the 16th, Jin claimed to be a policeman. After knocking on Zhao Douchun’s door, he quarreled with him, broke into the room and attacked Zhao Douchun’s head with a hammer. Seeing this, Zhao Douchun’s wife rushed out of the house and ran to the police booth downstairs to report the case. The police arrived and arrested Kim. In February this year, Jin also held a murder weapon and wanted to “punish” Zhao Douchun, but was stopped by the police in time.
Zhao Douchun, 69 years old, kidnapped and sexually assaulted primary school students and disabled them. However, the judge ruled that he was “old and unstable after drinking”. Coupled with the law on the upper limit of the sentence in South Korea at that time, Zhao Douchun was finally sentenced to only 12 years in prison. At the end of 2020, Zhao Douchun was released from prison after serving his sentence, which caused a lot of public resentment.
