According to the official news agency of the United Arab Emirates, the government of the United Arab Emirates approved the opening of an embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, at a cabinet meeting on the 24th.
At the same time, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued a statement on the same day that the Israeli Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has officially opened in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
It is reported that Israel will also set up a consulate in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
It is reported that the establishment of the embassy will promote the development of comprehensive relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and expand contacts between the two governments, economic entities, academia, media and other aspects.
This is also an important step taken by the United Arab Emirates and Israel on the road to the implementation of the relevant agreements on the establishment of diplomatic relations since August last year, after the four Arab countries of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco have successively announced the normalization of relations with Israel.
