February 3rd local time, Palestine began to vaccinate medical personnel in the West Bank against COVID-19.

On the same day, Palestinian Health Minister Mayi Kaila was vaccinated against the first dose of COVID-19.

Mai al-Kaila said in an interview that most of the medical staff who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 are working in the intensive care unit.

Mai al-Kaila did not mention the origin of these vaccines, but according to the Israeli government, the vaccines came from Israeli funding.

The international agency “Coronavirus Vaccine Implementation Plan” (COVAX) said recently that between 240,000 doses and 405,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccine will arrive in Palestine by late this month, but it is still waiting for approval from vaccine manufacturers and the World Health Organization.

According to the real-time report of the global COVID-19 epidemic, from 18:00 on February 2 to 18:00 local time on February 3, 470 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Palestinian West Bank and Gaza Strip

With a total of 160,426 confirmed cases; 8 new deaths, 1,857 deaths; and existing cases 7,906 cases, of which 54 were critically ill; a total of 150,663 were cured.
