According to local media reports on January 15, as the inauguration of the new president approaches, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has previously warned that there may be a potential armed threat in the capitals of each state in the United States.

To this end, South Carolina law enforcement agencies are taking additional security measures, including strengthening the protection of state Capitol buildings.

According to a press release issued by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, tourists will close the state’s parliament building from the 15th to the inauguration of the new president on the 20th.

All South Carolina law enforcement agencies have now assembled, planned and prepared for the deployment of resources, and have increased alert and manpower in and around the state Capitol building since last week.
