Slovenia’s president has awarded german chancellor Angela Merkel the highest medal of honor

October 5 2021 slovenian president George Pahor met with german chancellor Angela Merkel, who is attending the eu-western balkans summit, and awarded her slovenia’s highest medal of honor for her contribution to strengthening cooperation and development between germany and slovenia over the years.

the 2021 eu-western balkans leaders summit, hosted by slovenia, which holds the eu presidency, will be held in the slovenian city of kranj on the morning of october 6.
