January 11th – On the evening of the 9th local time, six prisoners in a prison in central California, United States, successfully escaped from prison using homemade ropes.
As of the 10th local time, the police are still searching for these fugitive prisoners.

The Merced County Sheriff’s Office in California said preliminary investigation showed that the inmates managed to reach the roof of the prison and then climbed down the prison side with homemade ropes.
