April 29 China Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin held a regular press conference. Asked by a reporter, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed recently in an exclusive interview with Saudi media elaborated on the Kingdom’s foreign policy philosophy.
He stressed that he is willing to develop new partnerships with China and other countries. What is China’s comment on this?
Wang said China highly appreciates Saudi Arabia’s positive willingness to deepen Saudi-China relations and is willing to work with Saudi Arabia to continuously raise the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries to a higher level.
We support Saudi Arabia in safeguarding the security and stability of its national sovereignty, in taking a development path that is in line with its own national conditions, against interference by external forces in Saudi Arabia’s internal affairs, and in supporting Saudi Arabia to play a greater role in international and regional affairs.
