On the 16th local time, the Russian Ministry of Defense once again released details of the peacekeeping operations carried out by Russian peacekeepers in the Naka region. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that neither Armenia nor Azerbaijan had violated the ceasefire agreement.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Konashinkov on the 16th, Russian peacekeepers deployed multiple observation points along the line of contact between the two sides in the operation mission area.
At present, these observation points have begun to monitor this area 24 hours a day.
In addition, the Russian peacekeeping force deployed another 7 temporary observation points in the Lachin Corridor to ensure the normal passage of the peacekeeper convoy.
According to the ceasefire agreement signed by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, the two parties in the conflict continued to exchange the remains of the fallen soldiers under the coordination of Russian peacekeepers and the International Red Cross.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Ministry of Defense once again sent 20 military transport planes to Armenia to transport Russian peacekeepers and other equipment.
