Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held talks with Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Marky in Minsk on the 26th.
At the press conference after the talks, Lavrov said that the Belarusian people have the ability to solve their own affairs without external interference.
Lavrov said that the people of Belarus are wise and considerate before acting. They have the ability to solve their own problems without external guidance and imposed mediation.
Lavrov said that it was obvious that external forces were trying to intervene in the normalization of the White situation, such as inciting so-called demonstrations.
Belarus held presidential election on August 9 this year, and Lukashenka was re-elected president with 80.1% of the vote.
Since then, protests have taken place in the capital Minsk and other places to question the election results.
