According to media reports from the Central African Republic, on January 4 local time, the Central African Republic Election Commission announced the preliminary results of the first round of voting in the country’s presidential election.
It is the presidential candidate representing the ruling party of the Central African Republic, the United Movement, and the current President of the Central African Republic, Touwad, whose term is about to end. Ra received 53.92% of the vote, ranking first among all presidential candidates, and the final result of the election is expected to be officially announced by the Constitutional Court of the Central African Republic on January 19.
It is understood that according to the Constitution and electoral law of the Central African Republic, candidates who get more than 50% of the votes in the first round of the Central African presidential election will win the election.
Therefore, according to the preliminary results of the first round of voting in the Central African Republic presidential election, Tuhuadra, who has 53.92% of the votes, will receive the President of the Central African Republic.
