The Pandemic worsened. Lebanon will impose a 25-day nationwide blockade.

The official website of the Ministry of Health of the Lebanese caretaker government announced on the 4th that 2,861 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed and 13 deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.

At present, a total of 192,139 cases have been confirmed and 1,499 deaths have been reported in Lebanon.

On the 4th, the government’s inter-ministerial committee on the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus Pandemic decided to implement a 25-day nationwide blockade from January 7 to February 1, with a curfew from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. every day.

During the blockade, odd and even number restrictions are imposed on vehicles.
