November 19 Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Afghanistan for an official visit.
This was his first visit to Afghanistan since he took office in 2018. During the visit, Imran Khan will meet with Afghan President Ghani and other senior Afghan government officials to discuss issues including the Afghan peace process, deepening bilateral relations between the two countries, and developing regional economic connectivity.
The Presidential Palace of Afghanistan issued a statement stating that the visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan is part of the regular high-level exchanges and visits between the two countries. President Ghani of Afghanistan paid an official visit to Pakistan in June 2019.
