MOSCOW, Aug. 18 2021 A Russian MiG-29 fighter jet crashed in the southwestern Russian state of Astrakhan on The 18th, killing one of the pilots on board.
Russian media quoted a statement from Russia’s southern military region reported that a MiG-29 fighter jet on a mission in Astrakhan state on the 18th crashed at the ashuruk military training ground in the state, killing one of the pilots on board. The aircraft was not carrying ammunition at the time of the incident.
Reported that the Russian Air Force General Command has sent relevant personnel to the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
