North Carolina, USA, was hit by a tornado, killing 3 people and injuring more than 10 others.

In the early morning of February 16th local time, a tornado swept through Brunswick County, North Carolina.

So far, at least 3 people have been killed, more than 10 injured, at least 50 buildings have been damaged, and some transmission lines have been damaged, affecting thousands of people.

Local officials said that on-site rescue operations are under way, and local fire and law enforcement departments will continue to clean up streets and search for disaster victims.
