New York City Mayor De Blasio said on January 19th local time that New York City will run out of all COVID-19 vaccines this week.
New York City has targeted 300,000 vaccines this week, compared with only 92,000 doses available.
De Blasio said the city will run out of all vaccine stockpiles by January 22, and will have to close vaccination sites and cancel all appointments after 21 days if New York State still doesn’t receive more vaccine supplies.
