by YCPress

April 30 2021, Myanmar’s military announced that, in order to advance the peace process and promote the epidemic, a nationwide ceasefire would continue until 31 May, in addition to the implementation of defence and administrative tasks, but that areas that caused disruption and threats to national security and management were not covered by the ceasefire.

The statement also called on all relevant parties to actively participate in the peace talks and said it would continue to advance the five-point road map and nine objectives proposed by the National Governing Council.
