May 7th 2021, Osaka, Kobe and other places in Japan have occurred a number of large-scale coronavirus collective infection incidents, due to the increasingly tight local medical resources, many elderly patients died while waiting for a hospital bed.
According to Japan’s Daily News and other comprehensive reports, the occurrence of large-scale collective infections are mostly large hospitals and nursing institutions, including a nursing institution in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture confirmed more than 100 cases, of which 23 residents died;
Reported that the deaths of most of the elderly, many of whom were diagnosed without immediate hospital reception, in the old-age institutions for convalescence during the death. As of 6 local time, Osaka Prefecture’s medical system is still overworked, the use of critical beds 101.6%, 69 seriously ill patients in the mild and medium-sized beds for treatment.
