More than 40 people were injured by the explosion of a gas canister in Venezuela.

According to the local media Periodico de Monagas, the local media Periodico de Monagas reported that at least 43 people were injured in a gas tank explosion in Venezuela, many of whom were seriously burned.

The incident took place on December 28 in Monagas, northern Venezuela. It is reported that when some gas canisters on the truck exploded, many people stood beside the car to obtain natural gas for household use.

According to some media sources, more than 150 gas canisters exploded in total. The injured have been taken to the local hospital. It is reported that there are nine minors between the ages of 4 and 17.
