May 10 2021, Mongolia’s State Emergency Administration official website issued a message that, according to the weather forecast provided by the meteorological department, during the day Mongolia’s former Hangzhou Ai, post-Hangzhou Love and Kusugur provinces in the mountains, Orhun and Serange river valley areas encountered sleet and snow weather, in addition, most areas of strong winds, and sandstorms.

Winds will reach 18 to 20 metres per second in most of the Central Gobi and north-western eastern Gobi province, north-eastern Part of the Eastern Gobi province tomorrow and southern Sukhbaatar province, with instantaneous winds of 24 metres per second.

On the 10th, the water level of most rivers in Orkhon, Zabhan and Kruren rivers rose by 10 cm to 20 cm from the previous day, and the level of the Slager Mullen River at the source of the Serenge River and from the mountains of Kusugur Province rose by 70 cm to 90 cm from the previous day, and there have been major floods.
