North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper says the state’s residents will no longer have to wear masks outdoors from the 30th.
Maryland Gov. John Hogan cited the latest guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in a statement, noting that the state has completed more than 4.5 million doses of the vaccine, so people don’t have to wear masks outdoors, and restrictions on outdoor dining in bars and restaurants will be relaxed from May 1.
North Carolina Gov. Cooper said that in addition to relaxing the mask order, the indoor crowding limit will be further relaxed.
