In his New Year’s dedication via live televised tonight, Muhiddin said that the government will ensure that at least 80% of the people are vaccinated against the coronavirus effectively and safe, and the vaccine is free of charge.
“The government estimates to receive the first 1 million doses of Pfizer vaccine first and vaccinate the target group as early as February 2021,” Mushiddin said.
The frontliners and I will be among the first to be vaccinated to prove that the vaccine is safe and effective. This was followed by vaccination for high-risk groups, such as older adults and patients with noncommunicable and chronic respiratory diseases.”
