Iranian Foreign Minister: Intelligence shows that there is a conspiracy to “fabricate war excuses”

Iran’s Foreign Minister Zarif said on Twitter on Thursday that “Iran does not seek war, but will openly and directly defend its people, security and vital interests” according to the IEP News Agency on December 31.

Zarif on Twitter: “Trump and his accomplices are not fighting the coronavirus in the U.S., but waste billions of dollars flying B52 bombers and sending military forces to our region.”

“Intelligence from Iraq shows that someone is plotting to fabricate an excuse for war,” Zarif warned.
