Malaysia’s health director Nur Hisham said that from December 14, close contacts of returnees from other countries and confirmed patients with COVID-19 must undergo 10-day quarantine observation and conduct a second COVID-19 test on the 8th or 9th day of quarantine.

Previously, the quarantine period of the above-mentioned people was 14 days.
