19 April 2021 Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said he firmly opposes the Czech conclusion that Russian intelligence services were involved in the 2014 bombing of an arms depot in eastern Czech Republic, saying the Czech expulsion of Russian diplomats was an unfriendly provocation.
Peskov said that according to The Russian side, the illegal elements in a number of countries with the support of the proposed coup plan in Belarus is very detailed and very destructive.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Joe Biden spoke by phone about the attempted coup in Belarus. Peskov did not disclose other specific information about the call between the leaders of Russia and the United States.
