Kenya condemns Britain for including it on the “red list” for prohibiting inbound travel.

April 3rd, local time, in response to the British decision to include Kenya on the “red list” for prohibiting inbound travel, the Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that the British decision was “discriminatory” and “punitive” and undermined bilateral relations. The British decision has an impact on bilateral trade, tourism and other fields.

In response, Kenya decided to impose strict immigration control on passengers from the United Kingdom to Kenya. All passengers who depart from or transit through British airports are required to be subject to mandatory quarantine for 14 days at the designated government authority upon entry into Kenya and a nucleic acid test on the second and eighth day of the quarantine period at their own expense.
