April 4 According to AFP, on April 4th local time, Indonesian rescue workers said that heavy rains in parts of the country caused flooding, which had killed at least 44 people and injured 9.

According to reports, Radia Jati, spokesman of Indonesia’s National Disaster Response Agency, said that at least 49 families on the eastern island of Flores in Indonesia have been hit by floods. In addition, bridges and roads in the eastern part of the island have been destroyed.

“In the village of Ramanil, dozens of houses are buried in the dirt…the houses of the residents have been washed away by flood,” Jati said.

“Extreme weather is expected to continue in the coming week,” Jatty added.
