April 9th, local time, French Minister of Health Welland said during a visit to a program in the French media that morning that if people under 55 have been vaccinated with the first dose of AstraZeneca, he suggested that the second dose should be changed to another vaccine.

Verand said that this practice is completely logical and reasonable, which will be confirmed by the French High Health Authority (HAS) later in the day.

Wellan affirmed that at present, the authorities do not recommend that people under 55 years of age vaccinated against AstraZeneca, so if people under 55 years of age have the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine, they recommend choosing another vaccine when inoculating the second dose.

France currently has set the AstraZeneca vaccine to people over 55 years old, but about 600,000 adults under 55 have been given the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine and are waiting for a second injection, which has caused concern.
