Follow-up to the Riot: U.S. Police Officers Talk About Being Sieged in Congress

by YCPress

January 14th local time, U.S. police officer Hodges talked about his experience of being besieged in the congressional riots in an interview. Hodges said that he was sandwiched between a door by demonstrators.

“He (the demonstrators) tore off my mask, took my baton and beat me with batons. These people are real fanatics…

I can’t protect myself effectively.” Hodges was eventually rescued by other police officers.

He said that he had suffered a headache for a week afterward and may have suffered a slight concussion.
