Fire broke out in two township offices in Mandalay and Burgundy, Myanmar

At about 22:30 p.m. local time on May 1, a fire broke out in a district office in the town of Mandalay Maha Aung Min, Myanmar’s second largest city, and firefighters went to put it out at about 23:00.

At about 5 a.m. local time on May 2, a fire broke out in the district office of Zagangnay township in Burgu province, Myanmar, and several explosions occurred during the fire, which was extinguished by firefighters at about 5:30 a.m. At present, the police are investigating the cause of the fire.

Recently, there have been several fires at grass-roots offices across Myanmar, some of which have been identified as arson.
