Europe and the United States will hold a leaders’ summit in Brussels in June

April 23rd, European Council President Michel announced on social media that a summit of European and American leaders would be held on the occasion of U.S. President Joe Biden’s visit to Brussels in June, when European Commission President Jean-Claude Von der Leyen will also attend.

Michel said the summit aims to rebuild alliances between the U.S. and Europe and strengthen cooperation on issues such as the new crisis, climate change, security and multilateralism.
