April 23rd, local time, Malaysia’s Senior Minister of Defence, Ismail Sabri, announced that 71 students at Guasevanzin Science High School in Selangor had been diagnosed with Coronavirus, and that the school had implemented the Enhanced Action Control Order (EMCO) from 24 April to 7 May. During the implementation of this restriction, school residential students will remain in isolation, and the rest of the students will be isolated from their homes.

Earlier in the day, Malaysian Health Minister Azam spoke out about the worsening of the local “school outbreak” and said the malaysian government was stepping up preparations to vaccinate 500,000 school teachers across the country as soon as possible.
