Croatia’s Coronavirus new high in a single day, Varaždin province has highest diagnosis rate in Europe
According to a report from the Croatian Civil Defense Headquarters on November 18, 9126 people have been tested in the past 24 hours, and 3,251 cases of new coronavirus infection have been confirmed, setting a record for the highest number of new cases in a single day.
So far, a total of 90,715 cases have been diagnosed and a total of 640,781 people have been tested. 72673 cases; 1878 cases are currently hospitalized, 205 cases are severely ill, 31 new deaths, and a total of 1113 deaths; 15371 cases exist, 36175 people are in self-isolation.
According to statistics from the World Health Organization quoted by the Croatian News Agency on the 18th, in the past week, the province of Varaždin had the highest diagnosis rate in Europe, with more than 1,500 infections per 100,000 population.
In the past 24 hours, 349 people were tested and 166 patients with Coronavirus pandemic were diagnosed, with a diagnosis rate of 48%.
Up to now, 5296 cases have been confirmed in the province.
