Colombia’s foreign minister tested positive for COVID-19 virus

Colombian Foreign Minister Bloom announced on the 11th local time through her personal social media account that she had tested positive for the novel coronavirus virus and would continue to work from home.

Previously, Bloom was tested for the virus as a close contact after preventive isolation due to a family member who contracted COVID-19.

Bloom is 72 years old, and he became the Foreign Minister of Colombia in November 2019 and the ambassador of Colombia to the United Nations from 2006 to 2010.
